At Some Point My Laziness Merged With My Business

Mon Apr 7, 2008, 7:13 PM
Okay, I've really been neglecting DA for a while now, and truthfully I can't say thats going to change anytime soon, but this is my first step to repentence.

First off I was tagged by :iconkuro-mizu: to do :iconfrostbell: 's feel good meme.

Here are the rules-

The Feel-Good Meme!

1. Name three things you think you do well.
2. What’s a moment in your life when you were proud of yourself?
3. What’s a song you feel good listening to?
4. Compliment yourself on a physical characteristic.
5. Post your three favorite deviations from your gallery.
6. Rant about your favorite thing(s) EVER. What makes you happy?
7. Write something nice about at least, but not limited to, three people! (They don’t have to be here on dA).
8. Write something nice about the person that tagged you.
9. Now it’s your turn - describe yourself in five words (at least three have to be positive).
10. Tag somebody!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. I'm an A Grade procrastinator and therefore am also an A Grade last minute worker (I once did an entire research paper in two days that I was assigned 3 months prior and got 49 out of 55 points on it. That was a record for me!) I believe that I'm pretty good at matching people with movies I think they'd like through analyzation of their personalities. I hope that I'm good at creating interesting and unique characters for stories (I really really really hope so!!!)
2. The first time in which riding a bike didn't immediately equal falling on my ass.
3. Ordinary Day by Vanessa Carlton
4. I'm proud of my hairy legs!!!!! (Even though I haven't worn shorts in public since middle school)
5. Ouch! Do I really have to? Well okay.
[link] -I spent way to much time and effort not have it on this list
[link] -At present this one probably needs an update but I still like, most likely because I had a blast writing it
[link] -I just like the feel this photo captured
6. FIRST OFF I LOVE WRITING AND DRAWING!!!!!! MOVIES ARE MY FAVORITE FROM OF ENTERTAINMENT AND ANIME!!!!!!
7. :iconkuro-mizu: I have you do thank for introducing me to a great deal of useful things including for that matter DA.
:icontailey-poe: Your incredibly fun!!!! (Even though I just tend to act like a jackass)
:iconredinu: I just plain enjoy interacting with you and I love the wispy style of your art work. (I really need to comment you more often, I've been a real neglective jerk lately)
:iconsimax: You rock! Please come back, I miss you along with many others!
:icondust8i8moth: Even though you've only been watching me a short time your a very consistent commentor, which I give you many thanks for! And your art is mind-bogglingly awsome!!!!!!!!
8. I already did, HA!
9. quiet, intelligent (I hope), open-minded (though I tend to act otherwise), SINGLE (yeah, I'm lonely), in-shape (somewhat)
10. Anyone who comments on this journal (Come on, you know you want to)

Finally, thats done, I really procrastinated on that.

Now on to news about present happenings in my life (why does that sound really self centered to me?). Currently I am working on two major art related projects which are pretty much taking up all my free time. One is the comic which I said I was working on who-knows-how-long-ago which I restarted from scratch and am progressing on much faster then the first time (most due to restructing of the creative process). I'm not planning on posting anything until I'm totally finished with it. The second thing is one of :iconkuro-mizu: 's projects which I'm helping out on, and thats all I can say (OOOOOUUHHH, doesn't that leave you with an extreme curiousity?).

And now for a new section that I'm going to have in all my journals from now on focusing on MY RECENT OBESSIONS----

-----Juno- Easily one of the best and most touching comedies I've ever seen.
-----No Country For Old Men- "Call it." Damn I love that speech. This is the most thought provoking movie I've seen recently and in a way the most horrifying. Bought it the day it came out on dvd and glad I did!
-----Johnny the Homicidal Maniac- Jhonen Vasquez is a genius, this book made that abundantly clear.
-----Battle Angel Alita- This manga series has found its way up next to Berserk as one of my all time favorites.
-----Basara- I tend to sway away from shojo manga being a guy and all, but I'm really glad I didn't in this case.
-----Mushishi- Enchanting, thought provoking, and beautiful. Three of my favorite qualities all rolled into one incredible anime.
-----Revolutionary Girl Utena- A weird, awsome, and intriguing anime which I recommend although it may not be for everyone.

I was planning on writing about a few more things but I'm running out of time so I'll save those for later.

Oh, Yeah. Kiriban for who ever gets a screenshot of my 2222nd page preview!

People are like stained glass windows: they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty if revealed only if there is a light within.
